In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan issued on March 7, 2019 No. F-5455 “On measures to organize an exhibition of museum exhibits of Uzbekistan in the Louvre Museum in 2021 and to create conditions for the effective display of museum funds of Uzbekistan abroad” and the statement No. 1adopted on December 25, 2021 by the council of the Foundation for the Development of Culture and Arts, the restoration of museum objects and holding an exhibition of museum objects of Uzbekistan at the Louvre Museum werescheduled.In this regard, Christine Pariselle, restorer of the Louvre Museum, with other staffs including Huynh Clara, Bentouati Schahrezade, Tavoso Oliviers, Director of the Center of Islamic Civilization Shoazim Minovarov, and Secretary General of the National Commission for UNESCO Gayane Umerova visited. The guests got acquainted with the museum exposition. The director of the museum H.Fayziyev gave detailed information about the unique exhibits in the exposition of the State Museum of the Temurid History. French restorers were introduced with the conditions of restoration and conservation of museum objects.
It has been planned to restore objects and exhibits of the State Museum of the History of Uzbekistan, the National Archaeological Center, and the Termez Archaeological Museum by French restorers.
