On February 10 of current year, a spiritual-educational event was held on the theme of “The image of the great Temurid figures” dedicated to the birthday of Alisher Navoi, who was the sultan of the poetic estate, and the great statesman, king and poet Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur in cooperation with the State Museum of the Temurid History, the Institute of Military Heritage and Modern Studies of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan, the Uzbek National Institute of Music Art named after Yunus Rajabi, Oriental University, the specialized musical school named after V. Uspensky.
The meeting was opened with congratulatory speech of Ph.D. Khurshid Turgunovich Fayziyev, Director of the State Museum of the Temurid History. During the event, following scientists participated with their scientific articles: honored cultural worker of Uzbekistan, Ph.D., prof. Abdumajid Madraimov under the topic “Navoi and Mirza Babur – major figures of Temurid Renaissance”, “Military skills of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur” by Ph.D., Assoc. Ozoda Rahmatullayeva, “Activities of Navoi and Babur – a source of inspiration” by Tulqin Hayit, an honored cultural worker of Uzbekistan, and Colonel Dilshod Choriyev, a teacher of the Institute of Military Heritage and Modern Studies of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the topic “The role of Babur’s legal heritage in forming the legal consciousness and legal culture of military personnel”.
In the artistic part of the event, plays and songs were performed by the singers of the “Maqom Ensemble” under the leadership of Nodira Pirmatova, the head of the “Maqom singing” department of the Yunus Rajabi Uzbek National Institute of Music Arts, Assistant professor of the “Folk Instruments” department of the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan, leader of the “Dutorchi girls” ensemble Ruzibi Khudjayeva performed “Koshtor Lazgisi”, artistic performances of students were presented under the leadership of Torabek Egamov, the deputy director of the department of Spirituality and Enlightenment Affairs of V. Uspensky republican specialized music school, and poetic performances of poets Shodmonqul Salom and Munavvara Usmanova gave the event an even higher spirit.
Also, within the framework of the event, according to the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 27, 2022 No. PQ-261 “On measures to develop the field of services in museums”, it is aimed at promoting and publicizing the transfer of cultural treasures preserved in our population to state museums. My contribution to the national heritage!” “A carpet with the image of Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur” was presented to the museum by Shahnoza Miraliyeva, Doctor of Philosophy in History,the head of the department of the State Museum of the Temurid History.
At the end of the event, the board of the museum presented “Gratitute notes” to all the organizations that cooperated in the organization of the event.
