An international scientific and practical conference “Amir Temur – in the view of world scientists and writers” was held

On September 29, 2021, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 26, 2021 “On measures to radically improve the system of spiritual and educational work”, an international scientific and practical conference “Amir Temur – in the view of world scientists and writers” was held in Shahrisabz. At the meetings of the conference in the departments called “Problems of source study and historiography of the period of Amir Temur and the Temurids”, “Public administration of the Temurids and international relations”, “Renaissance of the Temurids: science, culture and creation”, “The image of Amir Temur in Uzbek and world literature” took part 18 distinguished guests from 14 countries, such as the United States, France, Germany, Russia, Turkey, Egypt, Oman, Iran, Pakistan and Azerbaijan, as well as scholars of the theme of studies working in various regions of the country. In particular, a number of scientists of the State Museum of the Temurid History made their reports: the director of the museum, candidate of historical sciences Khurshid Fayziev (moderator of the department) with the article “The attitude of Ulugbek Mirzo to the rulers of Chagatai”, senior researcher, doctor of historical sciences, professor, honored worker of culture of Uzbekistan Abdumajid Madraimov on the theme “The book of American scientists Thomas Lentz and Glenn D. Lowry “Timur and the Princely Vision” and the opinions of American scientists about Amir Temur”, Senior Researcher, Doctor of Historical Sciences Omonulla Buriyev with his materials about “Amir Temur’s creativity in the description of the authors of his time”, doctor of philological sciences Aftondil Erkinov under the topic “Creativity of Alisher Navoi as a mirror of cultural prosperity of the Temurids”, senior researcher, candidate of historical sciences, associate professor Ozoda Rahmatullaeva with her article “Historiography of Amir Temur in the years of independence: results and conclusions”, researcher, honored worker of culture of Uzbekistan Tulkin Hayit with the topic “Four Pearls on the plains of Kesh”, head of the department “Spirituality and Enlightenment” Azizjon Sharipov within the theme “About the researches on the study of the history of Amir Temur in Uzbekistan and abroad”, researcher Avazov Farrukh with his theme “The period of Abu Said Mirzo in researches.” The content of the reports presented at the conference shows that scientific discoveries made as a result of studying the period of Amir Temur and Temurids are of great importance not only in our country, but throughout the world.
