Having reached independence, the personality of Amir Temur turned out to the national image of our country. Today the services of Amir Temur and the Temurids are being appreciated in the World scale.
The Republic scientific practical conference called “The role of investigation and propagation of cultural and scientific development in the period of the Temurids” on the occasion of Amir Temur’s 681st anniversary was held in the minor conference hall of the State Museum of Temurids History in cooperation with International Amir Temur Philanthropic Fund and Institute of Oriental Studies on 6 of April, 2017, at 10:00.
The meeting was opened with greeting and congratulation speeches of the vice – president of the Academy of Science of the Republic of Uzbekistan – B.Abduhalimov, director of the State Museum of the Temurid History, Kh.Fayziev, chairman of the International Amir Temur Philanthropic Fund, N.Khabibullayev, director of the Institute of Oriental Studies, N. Muhammedov.
Doctor of Philologyof the Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies Q. Sodiqov read lecture on the theme “Turkish version of “Merojnoma” copied in Temurids period”. Also Ph.D.of Architecture, professor of the Tashkent State Institute of Architecture and Construction, Sh.Askarov with the topic “Perfect man” in miniatures and architecture in Temurids period”, Ph.D of Philology., prof.,vice-chancellorof Tashkent Islamic Institute, Z. Islomov on theme “Encyclopedia of Eastern scientists: Temurid’s era”, Ph.D of Art., prof.,of National Art and Design Institute after Kamaliddin Behzad, Z. Rahimova on theme “Armour and harness of Temur and the Temurids era in miniature paintings”, staff of the Tashkent State Institute of Architecture and ConstructionN. Tuhboyeva on theme “Some articles about project system of AkSaray and Shahrisabz” delivered interesting lectures during the meeting.
The conference was continued dividing into three groups.
The first group: “Written relics of the Temurids period: problems of source and history studying”
The second group: “Renaissance of the Temurids period”
The third group: “General discussions of the history of Temurids period”. Main topic of all groups belong to enlighten the theme “The role of investigation and propagation of cultural and scientific development in the period of Temurids”.
All lectures and articles were dedicated to the Renaissance of the Temurids era, science in this period, poetry, poets, historians, material relics, descriptive and applied art, artistic design of written manuscripts, performances and music art and so on.
At the end of the meeting summary and final consideration were listened. Secretaries of the groups explained distinct points of the lectures. Professors advised to continue progressively such kind of seminars in future. They proposed to turn out into investigations.
Participants were lead among museum galleries after the conference.
