It is well known that at the state visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the two leaders agreed to declare 2018 as the Year of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan. In this regard, the management of the Azret Sultan Museum Reserve, located in Turkistan, Kazakhstan, has appealed to the State Museum of Temurid History to hold an exhibition in the museum reserve in Turkestan. The solemn opening of the “Year of Uzbekistan” was held in Astana on March 15, 2018 at the “Astana Opera” House in Astana. The opening ceremony of the photo exhibition titled “Pearls of the State Museum of Temurid History” was held at the Azret Sultan Museum Reserve in Turkistan on 5 July. In this event the senior staffs of the State Museum of Temurid History, and the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as staffs of the museum. Director of the State Museum of Temurid History Kh.T.Fayziev and Deputy Director of the Azret Sultan Museum Reserve at the opening ceremony S.Urkinbaev participated with their speeches. Speakers emphasized that such exhibitions will give a chance to further strengthen the brotherly ties between the two neighboring peoples, to get acquainted with the history of fraternal peoples.
